Abiy looked for a hostile tactic in the Northern Tigray region in November and promised that the dispute would be solved quickly. Thousands of people died as a result of combustion, which forced more than 1.7 million people to flee, fueled malnutrition and resulted in infusion of barbarism.

Ethiopia already treated with serious economic, ethnic and political problems in Abiy and the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), the previous leader of the region, became involved in a quarrel. The dispute is the culmination of increasing tensions between the parties and it is the most critical of some continuous ethno-patriotic conflicts in the second continent in Africa.
