By the main half of the 12th century, the focal point of the force of the Christian kingdom was considerably further south, towards the pasta area (a historically significant area of ​​North-Axed Ethiopia). From their capital Adela, individuals of the age line (from which this period takes its name), governed on an area which extended many current Eritrea to northern and focal Ethiopia. Although limited evidence of their capital exists, the holy places of the label - a city that takes its name from the sovereign of the wise credited with its establishment - is a demonstration of the creative achievements of this period.
