The participants in the event asked the Government of Saudi Arabia to prevent human rights violations on Ethiopian migrants in this country, according to the information of the Ethiopian diaspora agency. Ambassador Fisum Arega disclosed this into a great convention held in Washington DC on Sunday to raise finances for the construction of GERD and express support to the Ethiopian National Defense Force (FTF).

The ambassador has taken the opportunity that the financial support obtained over the last ten months does not include the fundraising campaign by Badr Ethiopia, a US-based development organization in GERD.
