This article is about "The police and basic liberties in Ethiopia". Each state has the obligation to respect, secure and fulfill human honors of people. In addition, police as one area the authority organ of government has its own responsibilities towards common freedoms. These join the obligation to respect and guarantee basic freedoms. Besides, cops have similarly an immediate and regular contact with the entire society that requires an immense effort and diligence of cops to respect and guarantee basic freedoms.
