The 20 houses built by the Municipality of Addis Ababa in Yeka district in 90 days at a cost of 20 million birr were presented to consumers today as New Year gifts.

The houses that are part of this project have been given special support and oversight by the Director General of City of Addis Ababa in his capacity as Deputy Mayor, Mr. Tolatu Yenebek / City, together with the chairmen of the City Council, City Hall and District, donated houses to 20 income families low and vulnerable.

At the same time, Ato Tolatu Yeine pointed out that in the last 90 days, 389 houses have been built for the poor, low-income communities, including those who have served the country and its people and paid the price for this land.

He said the project, which was implemented under the coordination of the city government with the help of volunteers, was a project that would change the lives of low-income people.

He built 20 of these homes which were handed over to tenants today and at the handover ceremony he received commendations and thanks for his support from Capital Hotels and Spa Municipality.
