IDA ICE (means ADA Interior Climate and Energy) by EQUA Simulation AB is a simulation tool of the end user for people with a limited amount of simulation experience. It was used to practice BPS in the student project. The Pilot Stes, which is planned to build a mobile laboratory already built in the center of the Hämeenlinna University, uses a mixture of sand and gravel as a storage medium, flat solar heat panels with heat pump and automatic control, forming A smart hybrid system that operates the building. A model of geometry of the building was created with the exact location and the climate information provided (Figure 2). IDA ICE allows users to build and modify their own systems, according to graphic user interfaces and defined parameter sets. A notable amount of time was saved due to the tool, in addition, a large amount of time was also spent, dealing with parameters and obtaining knowledge of unknown areas. When learning to use this application, construction students also have to cover the fundamental points of mechanical control and automation. This shows the educational value of BPS as a tool for design, prediction and evaluation from the perspective of a non-professional user. The final design of the stones has not yet been determined; However, with BPS, hopefully, a desirable result will be carried out with a high efficiency rate as expected.
